Poster-Making Competition on Gender Equality

The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Invertis University, Bareilly, organized a Poster-Making Competition on Gender Equality on 26th February 2026 under the guidance and encouragement of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam. The objective of the event was to raise awareness about gender equality and encourage students to express their views on social issues through creative mediums.
Students from various courses enthusiastically participated in the competition and showcased their creativity by presenting posters highlighting the importance of equality, respect, and equal opportunities for all. The activity provided a platform for students to reflect on social issues and convey meaningful messages through art and design.
Dr. Rajesh Sharma, Dean, appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged them to actively participate in such academic and creative activities. Dr. Lalit Kumar, Head of the Department, emphasized that such competitions help in developing creativity, confidence, and social awareness among students.
The programme was coordinated by Dr. Rubina Verma, in the presence of faculty members Dr. Nidhi Gupta and Ms. Yashika Gupta, along with students from different departments. Winners of the competition were felicitated for their innovative ideas and presentations.
The event proved to be insightful and inspiring, promoting awareness about gender equality and social responsibility among students.
