Placement Training Workshop Organised by Department of Journalism and Mass Communication in Collaboration with CRC
The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Invertis University, in collaboration with the Corporate Resource Center (CRC), organized a Placement Training Workshop on 9th April 2026 under the guidance of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam.
The session was addressed by Mr. Abhishek Gangwar, Senior Placement Executive, who guided students on placement preparation, communication skills, and career opportunities in the media industry. He emphasized that success comes from understanding concepts rather than rote learning and highlighted the importance of communication skills, articulation, content writing, and confidence for career growth.
Mr. Gangwar also discussed placement opportunities in reputed media organizations such as Times Now, ABP News, and Dainik Bhaskar. He guided students on creating effective resumes that reflect their skills, achievements, and personality. Students actively participated in the session and asked questions related to placements, media ethics, resume building, and communication techniques.
Dean Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sharma and Head of the Department Dr. Lalit Kumar appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to remain focused on developing industry-oriented skills. Faculty members and students were also present during the programme.
The workshop proved to be highly informative and motivating for students, providing them with clarity, confidence, and valuable guidance regarding their future career paths in media and communication.
