Panel Discussion on Union Budget 2026 – Department of BBA

The Department of BBA, Faculty of Management, Invertis University, Bareilly, successfully organized a Panel Discussion on “Union Budget 2026” on 10th February 2026 under the guidance and encouragement of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam. The event was convened by Ms. Neha Dev with the support of Prof. Manish Gupta, Dean – Faculty of Management, and Dr. Rajeev Singh Bhandari, HOD – BBA.
The session aimed to provide students with a platform to critically analyze and interpret the Union Budget and understand its implications for the national economy and business environment. The discussion highlighted key themes such as fiscal priorities, taxation reforms, infrastructure development, support for MSMEs and startups, and the broader impact of budgetary allocations on various sectors.
Students actively participated in structured discussions, connecting theoretical concepts of macroeconomics and public finance with contemporary policy decisions. The panel format encouraged analytical thinking, teamwork, research orientation, and effective communication skills.
The discussion was evaluated by Dr. Rajeev Singh Bhandari and Dr. Swastika Tripathi, who assessed participants on analytical depth, clarity of presentation, and their ability to relate budgetary provisions to real-world business scenarios.
Overall, the panel discussion proved to be an enriching academic exercise, enhancing students’ understanding of economic governance while strengthening their analytical and presentation skills. The event successfully promoted experiential learning through informed dialogue and evaluation.
