The Department of Electrical Engineering, Invertis University, Bareilly, organized a one-day industrial visit to Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd., Sonipat (Haryana) on 2nd February 2026 under the guidance and encouragement of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to real-world industrial applications of electrical engineering.

During the visit, students gained valuable insights into the automated manufacturing process of probiotic fermented milk drinks, where advanced electrical systems, automation, motor drives, sensors, PLC-based control panels, and energy-efficient power management systems are seamlessly integrated to ensure hygiene, safety, and operational efficiency. Students also learned about Yakult’s pioneering role in probiotics, supported by extensive global research on Lactobacillus casei Shirota.

The visit highlighted the importance of reliable electrical infrastructure in maintaining product quality and uninterrupted operations in food processing industries. Overall, the industrial visit proved to be highly informative and helped bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical industrial applications.
