Nirmiti 2026: The Invertis Fashion Show

The Department of Fashion Design successfully organized its Annual Fashion Show, showcasing the creative collections of final-year students under the Graduation Design Collection (GDC) and pre-final-year students under the Minor Project (MP). The event highlighted the complete design journey—from concept development and trend research to garment construction and ramp presentation.
Students spent over a month researching fashion forecasts, market trends, and consumer preferences before developing their collections. Final-year students presented eight ensembles each, while pre-final-year students showcased five ensembles each. The process involved mood board development, design sketching, fabric selection, pattern making, garment construction, fittings, and final presentation.
The event provided students with valuable industry-oriented exposure and an opportunity to demonstrate their creativity, technical skills, and professional readiness in the field of fashion design. During the award ceremony, Nayan Shikha Chaudhary was awarded Best Designer (Minor Project), while Gunjan Sharma received the Runner-Up position. In the Graduation Design Collection category, Anunaina Saxena won the Best Designer award, and Naina Goswami was declared the Runner-Up.
