International Accounting Day Celebration – Department of B.Com, Faculty of Management
The Department of B.Com, Faculty of Management, Invertis University, celebrated International Accounting Day on 10th November 2025 with an insightful event highlighting the changing role of accounting in the age of artificial intelligence. An expert lecture by CA Shivam Gupta on “AI in Accounting: Automating the Mundane and Liberating the Mind for Strategic Insight” explained how AI is transforming traditional accounting by automating routine tasks and enabling professionals to focus on strategic analysis and decision-making. Students gained practical understanding of emerging digital skills and future industry expectations. The celebration also included a screening of “Hisaab Barabar,” reinforcing the importance of ethics, transparency, and responsibility in financial management. The event was graced by Registrar Mr. Santosh Kumar, Chief Proctor Mr. Amritansh Mishra, and Prof. Rajesh Sharma, and was held under the guidance of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Y.D.S. Arya, Prof. Manish Gupta, and Dr. Dheeraj Gandhi. The Department conveys sincere gratitude to Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Executive Director Mr. Parth Gautam for their continuous support in promoting industry-oriented learning.
