Invertis University successfully organized an IEEE Onsite Training and Digital Library User Awareness Session on the topic “Enhancing Research Skills through IEEE Digital Library Resources” on 7th April 2026 in Seminar Hall–2. The programme was conducted in collaboration with IEEE Information Services. The event was organized under the guidance and support of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam, Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam, Global Director Ms. Sejal Gautam, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Y.D.S. Arya, and the university administration.

The workshop aimed to strengthen the research and technical information literacy skills of students and faculty members. Students from B.Tech. programmes including CSE, ME, CE, and EE (2nd and 3rd year) participated actively in multiple sessions conducted in scheduled batches.

The session was delivered by Mr. Lakhpat Singh, Training Manager, IEEE Information Services, who provided insights into effective utilization of the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, including advanced search techniques, access to journals, conference papers, and standards.

A live demonstration and hands-on session enabled participants to explore research content in real time using their laptops and mobile devices. The programme proved to be highly informative and beneficial for enhancing students’ research capabilities.
