Guest Lecture on “Relevance of Biomolecular Interactions in the Functionality of Proteins”

The Department of Biotechnology, Invertis University, Bareilly, successfully organized a Guest Lecture on 13th March 2026 under the guidance and encouragement of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam. The lecture was conducted for undergraduate students with the objective of enhancing their understanding of advanced concepts in biotechnology and biomedical sciences.
The session was delivered by Dr. Dhiraj Sinha, Staff Scientist, Department of Biochemistry, University of Texas, United States, on the topic “Relevance of Biomolecular Interactions in the Functionality of Proteins.” He explained the crucial role of biomolecular interactions in determining protein structure, stability, and biological functions, and discussed modern research approaches used to study protein behavior in biological systems.
The lecture provided valuable insights into the importance of protein interactions in biotechnology, drug discovery, and biomedical research. Students actively participated in the session and gained a deeper understanding of current developments in molecular and biochemical research.
The department expressed sincere gratitude to the Dean – Faculty of Sciences and Head of the Department of Biotechnology for their continuous support and encouragement in successfully organizing the lecture.
The session proved to be highly informative and beneficial, enriching students’ knowledge in the field of modern biological sciences.
