The Department of BBA, Faculty of Management, Invertis University, Bareilly, successfully organized a Group Discussion on “The Macroeconomic Impact of Event Management” under the guidance and encouragement of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam. The session aimed to bridge the gap between academic theory and industry realities by encouraging students to analyze the event sector as a strategic economic driver.

The discussion focused on key macroeconomic concepts, particularly the Multiplier Effect, highlighting how events stimulate secondary industries such as hospitality, tourism, transport, and infrastructure development while generating employment opportunities. Participants examined how large-scale events contribute to regional economic growth, national branding, and long-term economic expansion.

Students were evaluated by expert adjudicators on analytical depth, leadership qualities, clarity of thought, and communication skills. The winning teams were recognized for their well-researched, data-driven arguments and strategic insights.

The session proved to be intellectually stimulating and impactful, reinforcing the university’s commitment to fostering critical thinking and preparing students to lead effectively in a dynamic and globalized service economy.
