Extempore Speech Competition on 90 Years of Akashvani
As part of the celebration of 90 years of Akashvani, the Department of Journalism & Mass Communication, Invertis University, conducted an extempore speech competition in collaboration with Akashvani, Bareilly, under the supervision of Honorable Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Honorable Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam.
Participants put forth their opinions on the topics like “Akashvani: Voice of the People,” “90 Years of Akashvani,” and “Akashvani: A Mixture of Knowledge and Entertainment.” The competition was judged by Mr. Mithilesh Kumar Srivastava, Programme Head, Akashvani Bareilly, and Mr. Gaurav Saxena, Programme Executive, Akashvani Bareilly, who also offered topics to the participants.
The students demonstrated great oral communication skills, confidence, and fast thinking during the competition. First position was bagged by Ansh Pratap Singh, second position by Raghav Agnihotri, and third position by Sukriti Pandey. The winners will have the privilege to deliver their speech in the Yuvvani programme of Akashvani Bareilly.
The program was organized under the chairmanship of Dean Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sharma, Head of the Department Dr. Lalit Kumar, faculty members, and students.
