Department of Agriculture, Invertis University, Bareilly has successfully organized an educational tour from 4th to 8th April 2026 for B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture and M.Sc. (Agronomy) students with the help and support of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam.

This trip was organized to link theoretical learning with practical exposure in the fields of agriculture and environment sciences.

The students visited renowned institutes such as ICAR Indian Institute of Soil & Water Conservation (ICAR IISWC), Forest Research Institute (FRI) and Forest Survey of India (FSI).

During this journey, they had fruitful interactions with many experts and gained immense knowledge on various issues related to soil and water conservation, forestry techniques and sustainable agriculture.

They had the privilege of knowing about various modern technologies such as Geographical Information System, Remote Sensing & field level practices. This educational trip was led by Dr. Rahul Sharma and Dr. Virendra Kumar.
