Demonstration of Improvised Teaching Aids on National Science Day 2026

The Invertis Institute of Education, Invertis University, Bareilly, organized a “Demonstration of Improvised Teaching Aids” on 28th February 2026 on the occasion of National Science Day, under the guidance and encouragement of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam.

National Science Day is celebrated every year to commemorate the discovery of the Raman Effect by the eminent Indian physicist Sir C. V. Raman, which earned him the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930. The day aims to promote scientific awareness, curiosity, and innovation among students.

During the programme, students of the Department of Education showcased innovative low-cost improvised teaching aids designed to make classroom learning more interactive, practical, and engaging. The activity encouraged creativity among future educators and highlighted the effective use of simple materials in the teaching–learning process.

The event was organized under the mentorship of Prof. Y. D. S. Arya, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. R. K. Shukla, Dean – Faculty of Education, and Dr. Tusharika Saxena, Head – Department of Education, and was convened by Dr. Vaibhav Chauhan, Assistant Professor.

The programme proved to be informative and inspiring, reflecting the university’s commitment to promoting scientific thinking and innovative teaching practices.
