Bridging Knowledge and Success: NPTEL and NISM Awareness Program and Felicitation Ceremony Organised by Department of B.Com

The Department of B.Com., Faculty of Management, Invertis University, Bareilly successfully organized an awareness programme and felicitation ceremony titled “Bridging Knowledge and Success: NPTEL and NISM Awareness Program and Felicitation Ceremony” on 13th April 2026 at Seminar Hall-2. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam.
The objective of the programme was to create awareness among students about the importance of NPTEL and NISM certifications in enhancing employability, industry readiness, and career opportunities. The event began with ceremonial lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana.
The first session was conducted by Mr. Vivek Gupta, Assistant Professor, who provided detailed insights into NISM certifications and explained their importance in building careers in the financial sector. He also guided students about certificate examinations, CPEs, eCPEs, and the registration process.
The second session was delivered by Mr. Ravi Verma, Assistant Professor, who introduced students to the significance of NPTEL courses offered by premier institutions like IITs. He highlighted how these certifications strengthen resumes and improve academic and professional competencies. Students who had successfully completed NPTEL courses also shared their experiences and motivated their peers to participate in such learning opportunities.
A major highlight of the programme was the felicitation ceremony, where more than 30 students were recognized for their achievements in NPTEL and NISM certifications. Gold, silver, and bronze medals were awarded to students in appreciation of their academic excellence and dedication.
The event was successfully organized with the support of Mr. Vivek Gupta, Mr. Ravi Verma, Dr. Nitin Sareen, faculty members, and student coordinators. The programme proved to be highly informative and inspiring, encouraging students to pursue professional certifications and continuous skill development.
