Beer Distribution Game Organised by MBA Department Enhances Supply Chain Management Skills
Recently, the MBA Department of Invertis University in Bareilly organized a practical session entitled "The Beer Distribution Game" on 17th April 2026 in Seminar Hall-1 and witnessed active participation of students. It was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Manish Gupta, Dean Management and Dr. Ankita Tandon, HOD MBA at Invertis University, Bareilly.
This interactive session provided practical knowledge regarding coordination in the distribution channel that starts from the retailer and extends to the wholesaler, distributor, and factory. The participants learned the practical approach to deal with issues such as demand fluctuation, inventory control, communication differences, and bullwhip effect in the real world.
The program was conducted by Dr. Prabhat Kumar Sharma and Dr. Viksit Tripathi. The session received substantial support from the faculties including Dr. Nitesh Saxena, Ms. Tanpreet Kaur, and CFA Rakesh Gupta.
