With the aim to provide students the opportunity of attending, the Dehradun Literature Festival, Department of Applied Science and Humanities, Invertis University, Bareilly has organized the educational trip to Dehradun and Mussoorie from 09 November 2024, Saturday to 12 November 2024, Tuesday. Dr Rubina Verma (Head Dept. of Professional Comm.), Dr Nasreen Javed (Assistant Professor Dept. of Professional Comm.) and Ms Bushra Khanam (Assistant Professor Dept. of Professional Comm.) accompanied the students. Every effort was made to make the trip an enjoyable and safe educational experience.
The purpose of the trip was to provide an opportunity to students to witness authors, poets, readers, critics, journalists, cultural icons and artists from diverse domains at Dehradun Literature Festival. It served as a good platform for all the aspiring writers, readers, and those who want to contribute to the world of literature.
The event was hosted by Doon International School Dehradun with its characteristic flavour, substance, and scale, bringing together writers, readers, connoisseurs, influencers, and thinkers. It fostered love of Literature and writing to the students of Humanities.
Students were also taken for sightseeing at Sahastradhara, Dehradun on 11 Nov 2024 and Dalai Hills in Mussoorie on 12 Nov 2024. Apart from enjoying the natural beauty we also accompanied students to explore prominent market places in Dehradun and the mall road of Mussoorie. The trip was altogether a memorable experience for both students and faculty members.
