The Department of B.Com., Faculty of Management, Invertis University, Bareilly, successfully organized an Alumni Connect session on 13th March 2026 under the guidance and encouragement of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam. The session was conducted for students of B.Com. and B.Com. (Hons.) to enhance their understanding of investment psychology, wealth creation, and financial market practices.

The session was delivered by Ms. Urvashi Gupta, alumna of B.Com. (Hons.) Financial Markets (Batch 2019–2022) and Manager at Anand Rathi Stockbrokers Ltd. She shared practical insights on stock market investing, financial discipline, and long-term wealth creation. She emphasized that successful investing requires control over emotions such as fear and greed, along with patience, consistency, and a long-term approach.

She also explained the importance of diversification beyond the NIFTY 50, highlighting investment avenues such as mutual funds, bonds, fixed deposits, commodities, and real estate. Students were encouraged to start investing early, observe market trends, and gain practical exposure to financial decision-making.

The programme was organized under the support of Prof. Manish Gupta, Dean – Faculty of Management, and Dr. Dheeraj Gandhi, Head – Department of B.Com., along with faculty members of the department.

The session proved to be highly interactive and informative, helping students understand the importance of financial awareness, disciplined investing, and long-term wealth planning.
