The Department of Biotechnology, Invertis University, successfully organized the 12th International Conference – Biotech Vision 2025 on 7 & 8 November 2025 in collaboration with International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM) Sweden & Microbiologists Society of India. The two-day academic event, brought together eminent scientists, academicians, and students to discuss recent advancements and future directions in biotechnology.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by Dr. G. K. Goswami, IPS, Ex-Additional Director General of Police and Fulbright Fellow, as the Chief Guest, and Dr. A. M. Deshmukh, President of the Microbiologists Society of India and former Professor and Head, Department of Microbiology, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Sub Centre, Osmanabad, Maharashtra, as the Guest of Honour.

The Keynote Address was delivered by Dr. Niraj Rai, Scientist–E, Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeosciences, Lucknow. The inaugural ceremony was graced by Prof. P. P. Singh, Dean, Faculty of Science, Registrar Mr. Santosh Kumar, HOD- Dr. Pankaj Rai, other dignitaries of university, faculty members and conference delegates.

The second day included an invited lecture by Dr. Lalit Kumar Pandey, Assistant Professor, MJPRU, and insightful talks by international speakers — Dr. Saurabh Kumar, Staff Scientist, Versiti Blood Research, USA, and Dr. Anshuman Mishra, IAAM, Sweden. The day also witnessed several exciting inter-house competitions such as Debate, Quiz, Poster Presentation, Young Scientist Award, and Oral Presentation sessions. An MOU has been signed with Microbiologists Society of India to start a student’s unit at Invertis University.

The success of the event was made possible through the best wishes of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam, the guidance and extensive support of the Executive Director, Mr. Parth Gautam and the constant motivation of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Y. D. S. Arya. The event was convened by Prof. Pankaj Rai along with Co-convener Dr. Yashdeep Sriastav & Organizing Secretary Mr. Satyam Srivastav. The sincere efforts and dedication of faculty members, students coordinators and all organizing committee members contributed immensely to making the event a grand success.

Overall, the conference achieved excellence across academic and extracurricular dimensions, fostering scientific curiosity, collaboration, and innovation among participants.
