The Department of Law, Invertis University, Bareilly, successfully organized the 11th Intra-Departmental Moot Court Competition on 12th–13th March 2026 under the guidance of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam. The competition aimed to enhance students’ understanding of court procedures and develop advocacy, research, and legal drafting skills through practical courtroom simulation.

The event was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Y.D.S. Arya, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Reena Jaiswal, Dean – Faculty of Law, and Mr. Prakhar Saxena, Head, Department of Law. The competition was convened by Dr. V. N. Sharma with coordination support from Ms. Himanshi Lakhmani and Mr. Rashtrabardhan.

A total of 21 teams participated in elimination, preliminary, quarter-final, semi-final, and final rounds. The final round was held at the Moot Court Hall, where participants were evaluated by alumni and practicing advocates including Dr. Nupur Sony, Mrs. Megha Mishra, Ms. Shikha Shrotriya, Mr. Moiz, Adv. Kashish Gupta, Adv. Sachin Yadav, Adv. Shikhar Chanda, Adv. Lavish Lal Bammi, Adv. Alaika Khan, Adv. Sauban Ahmed, Adv. Akshay Dubey, and Adv. Dheeraj Sharma.

The Winning Team included Raghav Agrawal, Harsh Kashyap, and Harshit Pathak, while Shreya Sharma, Prakhar Aviral, and Eti Gupta were the Runner-Up. Siddhi Sharma was awarded Best Mooter, Sachin received Best Researcher, and Team-4 won the Best Memorial Award.

The competition provided valuable practical exposure to students and successfully promoted confidence, legal knowledge, and professional skills among aspiring law students.
