The three-year Ph.D. in Law programme offered by the Department of Law focuses on the study of Legal Research and Method, and Legal Theory and Present Day perspectives on law. The coursework includes fieldwork, seminars, review of research papers, etc. Furthermore, the programme culminates with the submission of a dissertation that includes an original research component.

Admission Procedure

Admission to the Ph.D Programme would be through an entrance exam.
Those who have qualified UGC/CSIR(JRF) examination/SLET/GATE examination or have M.Phil degree will be exempted from the entrance examination.
