Department of biotechnology organised a guest lecture for students of biotechnology and microbiology on food processing industry. Our speaker for the lecture was Mr. Durgesh Kumar Shankdhar, DGM technical, Sirmaur soaps and allied products Pvt ltd, Bareilly. He enormously spoke about major food processing sectors and their gaining role in economic uplift. During his talk, he discussed major challenges & opportunities in the food processing sector.

The objective of the guest lecture was to uplift student’s interest in choosing food processing industry as their carrier.
