DEBATE COMPETITION ON NEW EDUCATION POLICY 2020: TAKING INDIA TO GREATER HEIGHTS - ORGANISED BY B.COM DEPARTMENT ON 18TH DECEMBER 2020
B.Com Department, Invertis University organized The Debate Competition on NEW EDUCATION POLICY 2020: TAKING INDIA TO GREATER HEIGHTS - 18th December, 2020 for all the students of Invertis University.
More than 100 students registered from all over the university. The screening phase was held on 14th December, 2020 and 15 finalists were selected for the final round. During the screening round students presented their arguments on various topics chosen by them.
Final round of the debate was conducted on 18th December 2020, in which the finalist enthusiastically tried to beat their opponents by presenting their arguments on the topic “NEW EDUCATION POLICY 2020: TAKING INDIA TO GREATER HEIGHTS”.
The judges of the event were Dr. Rubina Verma (HOD, Department of Professional Communication), Dr. Avadhesh Sharma (HOD, Department of Education) and Mr. Sandeep Abhishek (Assistant Professor, Department of JMC).
The winners were: Lov Dubey (BCA 3rd year) holding 1st position; Vaishnavi Agarwal (BSC PCM 1st year) holding 2nd position and; Jahanbee Gupta (BBA 2nd year) holding 3rd position.
Winners were felicitated by trophies and certificates, and participants also received the certificate from Prof. Manish Gupta (Dean Management), Dr. Dheeraj Gandhi (HOD, B.COM Department), Ms. Ruchi Rastogi (Convenor) and all the three respected judges. Vote of thanks was given by Dr. Dheeraj Gandhi (HOD, B.COM Department).
The event was proved to be successful under the guidance and blessings of Dr. Umesh Gautam (Honorable Chancellor), Prof. YDS Arya (Vice Chancellor), Prof. Manish Gupta (Dean Management), Dr. Dheeraj Gandhi (HOD, B.Com Department) and Ms. Ruchi Rastogi (Convenor).
