National Cadet Corps
The NCC - National Cadet Corps is the Indian military cadet corps. Ncc has its head Quarters at New Delhi. It is open to school and college students on voluntary basis. The National Cadet Corps in India are a voluntary organization which recruits cadets from high schools, colleges and Universities all over India. The Cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades. The officers and cadets have no liability for active military service once they complete their course but are given preference over normal candidates during selections based on the achievements in the corps.
Benefits of Joining NCC :

CDS written exam exemption is given to NCC cadets for SSC recruitment.

NCC Cdets get preference over other candidates in the CRF and BSF.

Special preference is given to NCC cadets at several central and state Government organizations.
Eligibility Criteria required to join NCC (3 Year duration Course)

Candidate admitted in 4 year & 3 year courses are eligible for NCC (Army & Navy) Wing.
