The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English programme is structured to provide a comprehensive understanding of literature, language, and literary theory. It aims to develop students’ critical, analytical, interpretative, and communication skills through a systematic study of literary texts across genres, periods, and cultural contexts.
The curriculum includes poetry, prose, drama, linguistics, literary criticism, composition, creative writing and much more. It also fosters academic writing skills and research aptitude, enabling students to engage critically with texts and theoretical frameworks.

Students participate in theatre performances, literary festivals, magazine release activities, and educational visits, which enrich their understanding of literature through creative, cultural, and practical engagement.
