Rakesh Gupta

CFA Rakesh Gupta is a seasoned finance professional and Assistant Professor in the Department of Management at Invertis University. He holds an MS in Finance from ICFAI University (2014) and earned his CFA Charter in 2012. Currently, he is pursuing CMA from ICAI Kolkata and has successfully cleared the CMA Inter level with distinction.

With over a decade of experience spanning equity research, financial analysis, and academic training, Mr. Gupta has demonstrated expertise in capital markets, fixed income securities, derivatives, portfolio management, and corporate finance. His core strengths lie in financial statement analysis, DCF valuation, and investment research.

His professional journey includes working as an Equity Research Analyst at Ishaan Capital (2008–2013) and as a Research Analyst & Financial Program Trainer at Financial Path (2013–2015). Since 2017, he has been actively engaged as a freelance consultant to MSMEs and has mentored numerous CA, CFA, and MBA (Finance) aspirants. He has also served as a visiting faculty member at ICAI (Prashant Vihar & Vishwas Nagar), delivering specialized training to CA/CMA final-level students across reputed institutes in Delhi NCR.

Mr. Gupta is passionate about valuation advisory, investment banking research, and mentoring future finance professionals. He possesses advanced proficiency in MS Office tools, excellent analytical thinking, and strong communication skills.

Outside of academia and consulting, he enjoys music, chess, travel, fusion cooking, and social networking.
