Keeping this in view, Invertis University, the best university in UP, has instituted the Centre for Skill & Entrepreneurship Development (CSED), a world-class, state-of-the-art facility, to provide students with cutting-edge, industry-relevant technical skills education in new and emerging smart technologies to prepare them for a highly advanced and constantly evolving job market.

CENTRES OF EXCELLENCE

In partnership with DCS as its system integrator and Dassault Systems, PTC, and Mastercam as its technology providers, the CSED has 11 Centres of Excellence in Manufacturing and IIoT to impart project-based learning to the students. In coordination with the Corporate Resource Centre (CRC), it also provides employment assistance to the students to prepare for campus placement interviews with numerous leading Indian and global manufacturing companies.

The Centre offers multiple programmes in smart manufacturing technologies including Product Design, Product Manufacturing, Smart Manufacturing, Mould Design & Manufacturing, Product Analysis, and Press Tool Design & Manufacturing. It also offers several programmes in Industrial IoT including IIoT Foundation, Communication & Standard Interfaces, Smart Industrial Connectivity, Data Analytics for IIoT, Machine Learning for IIoT, Artificial Intelligence for IIoT, and Smart Agriculture.

Students involved in these project-based programmes will get hands-on training and work experience through multiple industrial internships along with industrial certifications.

They will acquire advanced knowledge of the latest industrial technologies and get to interact with industry practitioners. They will also be able to develop higher-order problem-solving and decision-making skills, which will boost both their confidence and academic performance.

Message From The Director, Centre For Skill & Entrepreneurship Development (CSED)

Prof. Jitendra Nath Shrivastava is the Director of Center for Skill & Entrepreneurship Development (CSED). He has been the Vice Chancellor, Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Chief Proctor, Head (Computer Science & Engineering) and Advisor to Proctorial Board in the past. He has having more than 27 years of experience in teaching, research and administration. He has published more than 30 research papers in international & national journals of repute to his credit. He has also authored three books in the field of Database Management Systems. He has also delivered many expert lectures in various academic institutions. His research areas of expertise are Database Management Systems, Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things. He is working on skill up-gradation, building of new skills and innovative thinking not only for existing jobs but also jobs that are to be created.

I believe that a great entrepreneur must be able to effectively communicate, sell, focus, learn, and strategize. An ability to continuously learn is not just a key entrepreneurial skill, but also a very valuable life skill.
