INDUSTRIAL VISIT OF BBA SECOND YEAR TO IFFCO, AONLA ON 17TH NOVEMBER 2017
With the motive to strengthen relations between Industry & Academic Institutes, CRC department of Invertis University, Bareilly organized an Industrial Visit for the students of BBA second year to IFFCO(Aonla), where students not only visited the industry but also came to know about the working regimes of various sections of it. IFFCO (Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Limited) is one of India's biggest co-operative society which is wholly owned by Indian Cooperatives. Founded in 1967 with just 57 cooperatives, it is today an amalgamation of over 36,000 Indian Cooperatives with diversified business interests ranging from General Insurance to Rural Telecom apart from their core business of manufacturing and selling fertilizers.Mr. Rajesh and Mr. Verma of IFFCO acquainted students with the production of Urea which is a mixture of Ammonia and Carbon. They also explained the process of producing Ammonia and Carbon. The students also raised many queries relating to the discussion to which they were answered satisfactory. After the discussion, they were also shown the unit where production of Urea and Ammonia is done. The students were also shown the baggaging section where urea is packed finally for selling into the market.IFFCO (Aonla) has its own railway line which they use for the purpose of transporting Urea to market. The students were thrilled to see the bagging process of urea. The visit proved to be an elevating experience for the students. We extend our deep gratitude to IFFCO employees and staff who helped us in making the visit comfortable. The visit proved to be fruitful under the guidance of Dr. Manish Gupta (Dean Management), Dr. Dheeraj Gandhi (HOD, BBA & B.COM), Ms. Priyanka Awasthi, Mr. Avinash Saxena & CRC Team headed by Mrs. Seema Barthwal and Mr. Balu Seban.
