INDUSTRIAL VISIT OF BBA SECOND YEAR TO ANANDA, GAJRAULA ON 23rd FEBRUARY, 2018

Industry visits sensitize students to the practical challenges that organizations face in the technical world. Industrial visits also give greater clarity about various technical concepts for students as they can practically see how these concepts are put into action.
 It provides you an opportunity to learn practically through interaction, working methods and employment practices.
Visiting a company gives students a practical perspective on the world of work and ignite their minds on several fronts. CRC department of Invertis University, Bareilly organized an Industrial Visit for the students of BBA second year to ANANDA (GAJRAULA), where students not only visited the industry but also came to know about the workflow of various sections of it. Ananda company was up by visionary Indian businessman Radhey Shyam Dixit in 1989. Initially, the name of the company was Gopaljee Dairy. In March 2012, they rebranded it to Gopaljee Ananda and started marketing themselves with the new name. Ananda has over 5000 village and more than 2,00,000 dairy farmers from Uttar PradeshHaryana, and Punjab under its supply network. The current production capacity of the company is 13,00,000 liters of milk a day. Ananda‚Äôs authorized outlets are present at 20 locations across Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR), Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.
At present, Ananda offers a wide range of  milk  and milk related products, including paneerghee (clarified butter), rabri, dahi (yogurt), lassi, chaach(Buttermilk), flavored yogurt, flavored milk, honey drinks, buttercookierusk, matthi, khoya, and dairy creamer. Mr. Pankaj Patel (Production Head) guided the students during their visit and demonstrated them the process of milk sterilization and frostation. Students were also shown how ghee and butter is made out of milk. The students also visited the packaging section where they learned the process of milk and milk related products are packed and are then sold in the market. The students were briefed on every detail of supply chain and logistics. Students were exposed to real working environment and shown how things are done in an organisation. Mr. R.K. Chauhan (Dy. Manager-HR & Admin) told students about the HR practices followed by Ananda Dairy Foods and answered various queries of students. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to ANANDA employees and staff especially Mr. Lokesh Sharma, GM, Ananda Plant, Gajraula and Mr. Mahipal Sharma (Plant Store Manager) who helped us in making the visit comfortable. The visit proved to be a real hands on experience for students under the guidance of Dr. Manish Gupta (Dean Management), Dr. Dheeraj Gandhi (HOD, BBA & B.COM), Ms. Dipti Raj Sharma & CRC Team headed by Mrs. Seema Barthwal and Mr. Balu Seban. Also we place on record our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Sachin Saxena (Senior Executive, CRC Department, Invertis University) for arranging such knowledge seeking visit.
