With a view to provide exposure on the personal/online interviews to the students, B.Com Department organized an Online Workshop on Interview Etiquettes on 3rd July, 2021 for the students of B.Com (H) in Financial Markets (2nd & 3rd Year), B.Com (H) and B.Com (3rd Year). The workshop was conducted by Mr. Appras Vilies (Trainer, Invertis University).

Mr. Appras started the session with the pre-requisites or the conditions that are required prior to an interview and what students should consider before starting their dream job and what it means to be a successful at workplace. He further mentioned that getting a job is just the beginning, and it isn’t the most important part of your role in the organization. He spoke about how to begin preparing for your new job, once you have secured a position. How can a student make the most of the opportunity by learning curve during their first 6 months of working?. Later, he told about the probation period that most of the company follow these days, and what all, as a student going into a corporate world can face during the probation period and how to overcome these obstacles.

He spoke on the different ways for a student to prepare for their job interviews, and what all are the things that as a professional one should consider before the interview.
Mr. Vilies concluded with, the things as professional (students) should expect during the first few days of your job. And what are the do’s and don’ts during the first 6 months of your Job. The session was very interactive and productive.

We extend our deep gratitude to Mr. Appras Vilies (Trainer, Invertis University) who really made the students understand the importance of Interview Etiquettes and how can one train himself/herself prior to the Interviews. The workshop was proved to be fruitful under the guidance of Dr. Umesh Gautam (Honourable Chancellor), Prof. YDS Arya (Vice-Chancellor), Prof. Manish Gupta (Dean Management), Dr. Dheeraj Gandhi (HOD, B.Com Department), Mr. Naveen Agarwal, Mr. Ankush Saxena and other department faculty members.
