Event Description

Psychological Testing Camp was organized by the Department of Psychology, Invertis University. In which the psychological condition of the students was checked and results were shown to them after conducting four tests.

Chief Guest was Dean, Faculty of Applied Sciences and Humanities, Prof. P. P. Singh. Guest of Honor was Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Jain. The camp was organized in the psychology laboratory. In this camp, 87 students registered themselves and were tested through 4 types of tests. These included “The Pass Along Test” by Akanksha and Karuna, “Learning by Mirror Drawing” by Palak, Priyanka and Neha, “Memory Drum” by Prachi and Khushboo and “Self - Steam” by Rishika, Deepa and Ifra. The camp attracted the university students in such a way that a crowd of students gathered outside the psychology lab to get tested. The organizer of this camp was Dr. Faizal Hasan. In this camp, students and teachers of other departments also got their psychological tests done. In the camp, students of Psychology Honors also presented their views.

Karuna Sharma, a student of Psychology Honors second semester, says, “It is high time people must realise the significance of good mental health because when a person is suffering psychologically, it’s not just him/her, their loved ones also get regressed due to the impact of the mental health issue being faced. Akanksha Singh, a student of Psychology Honors second semester, says, “Psychology and Mental Health are inseparable concepts, to understand mental health in an absolute manner one must have the fundamental understanding of basic psychological concepts. Establishment of a psychology laboratory at Invertis is a big landmark for the institution as well as the city of Bareilly. Palak Sandhu, another student of Psychology honors second semester says, “Psychology Laboratory at Invertis University shall continue to create mental health awareness in an around the campus. More behavioral and cognitive activities are planned for days to come. Benefits of having a psychological Laboratory would surely reach the students, faculty and staff of Invertis University Bareilly. All the students and teachers were pleased with the arrangements made by the department and they requested the organizer of this camp to organize such camps again, and again. In this camp, Head of Department Dr. S.K. Jain, Dr. Faizal Hasan, and All the teachers of the department graced the camp.
