INDUSTRIAL VISIT OF B.COM (H) & B.COM (2ND YEAR) TO YAKULT DANONE
INDIA PVT. LTD., SONIPAT (HARYANA) ORGANISED BY THE FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT ON 27TH SEPTEMBER 2022
Theoretical knowledge is incomplete without practical exposure. With this objective, the B.Com Department (Faculty of Management) and CRC Department of Invertis University, Bareilly jointly organized an Industrial Visit for the students of B.Com (H) & B.Com (2nd Year) to Yakult Danone India PVT. ltd., Sonipat (Haryana) on 27th September 2022. The students were accompanied by two faculty members viz. Mrs. Ruchi Rastogi and Dr. Mohnish Kumar who gave their utmost efforts to make the students learn about the real corporate world.
On arrival at the plant, Ms. Sania, a representative of Yakult – Danone, explained through a PowerPoint presentation about the origin of the company, Yakult-the importance of the Probiotic Drink, the Production Process, Marketing and Distribution of the Product. During the visit, the students visited various Production and Manufacturing Units like Seed Room, Culture & Mixing Room, Quality Control, Bottle Molding, Machine Room, Packaging Room and Quality Checking.
In 1930 Dr. Minoru Shirota, a Japanese scientist, was the first in the world to isolate and culture a probiotic strain which reached the intestines alive in large numbers and imparted health benefits to the host. He used this strain to make Yakult, a fermented milk drink, so as to reach the benefits of the strain to people at large. The flagship product Yakult contains over 6.5 billion beneficial bacteria Lactobacillus casei strain Shirota which have proven health benefits. It helps improve digestion and helps build Immunity. It has been scientifically proven to be safe and effective.
The industrial visit supplemented and enhanced classroom learning and getting hands-on technical knowledge.
