Invertis University, Bareillly has again achieved a milestone in the field of Protein Science and Proteomics by organizing concisely the 4th International Conference: GenoPro2017. Eminent Scientists/ Professors of the world have collaborated and have discussed the recent advance technologies in the concern field. A total of 738 delegates have participated in the various competitions like Young Scientist Award, Oral Presentation and Poster Presentation. The conference was warmed by the presence of Honorable Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Chief Guest Dr. Shashi Bala Singh, Director General -Life Science, Defense Research and Development Organization, New Delhi. Dr. Umesh Gautam has given a warm welcome to eminent scientists / Professors, beside that he announced that we will be collaborate and signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Weizmann Institute of Technology, Israel and Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad. At last he told students that leaning and curiosity will initiate you towards practical exposure which will imparts knowledge and leads to bright career. The conference was also blessed by the presence of our International Speakers/ Guest of Honor: Dr. Kevy Loby (Prof., Weizmann Institute of Technology, Israel) and Dr. Maansa Raghavan (Asst. Prof., Cambridge University, Cambridge). After that welcome address was conveyed by to Dr. Jagdish Rai, Vice Chancellor, who welcomed Chief Guest and Invited Speakers: Dr. TP Singh (Prof., All India Institute of Medical Science, New Delhi), Dr. Yogendra Sharma (Scientist F) and Dr. Biswajit Roy (Scientist C, Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, CCMB, Hyderabad), Dr. Faizan Ahmed, Dr. L. Rajendra Prasad, Dr. Asimul Islam (Prof., Jamia Islamia, New Delhi), Dr. ID Mall (Prof., Indian Institute of technology, Roorkee), Dr. Kakoli Bose (Prof., Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer, Mumbai), Dr. NIraj Rai (Scientist C, Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeoscience, Lucknow), Dr. KP Mishra and Dr. RC Meena (Defense Institute of Physiology & Allied Science, New Delhi). After that Mr. LP Mishra (Retd. IG, UP Police), Director Administration has given his speech in which he talked about Ethics and moral values of human being. He also enlightens the audience by giving a brief note on how Indian society, Vedas and science are co-related. After that the podium was handed to Dr. RK Shukla, Dean Engg. and Sci., he has deliver a short note on eve of Engineers Day and has given tribute to greatest Indian Engineer Bharat Ratna Dr. Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya (popularly known as Sir MV). In spite of that he enlightens the young and innovative minds to follow leader like him. He also shows gratitude to the Department of Biotechnology and his blessing to the Dr. Ravi Deval (HOD), organizing committee and all the faculty of department. Special thanks were given to Dr. Nitesh Poddar (Convenor), Dr. Dinesh Prajapati (Co-Convenor) and Mr. Sachin K. Srivastava (Organizing Secretary) for the brilliant effort laid by them.
