Engineer's Day Celebration(15th Sept,2016)
Every year, on the birthday of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, 15 September is celebrated as Engineer's Day in India in his memory. He was the chief engineer responsible for the construction of the Krishna Raja Sagara dam in Mysore as well as the chief designer of the flood protection system for the city of Hyderabad. To pay respect to him and to celebrate the engineering spirit of innovation, I-Tech, with the most fervour and zest, organized “Abhivyakti – Represent it to present it!!”.
The event had 7 participating teams from following departments: BioTechnology, Civil, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, & Pharmacy.
The event had two rounds:
In the 1st round, the students found words out of a word search puzzle and then defined their branch using those words.
In the 2nd round, the students showcased the 3 most impactful & Life-altering innovations of their stream by a short PowerPoint presentation.
We were honoured to have received the gracious presence of Mr. Raj Kumar Agarwal, Chief Engineer, Bareilly Zone, MVVNL as the Guest of Honour.

2nd Prize: Rahul Pahwa, Meezab Ansari, B.Tech. ME 4th year
