Department of B.Com, Faculty of Management, Invertis University, Bareilly organized “Career Awareness Programme” by ICSI on 19th April, 2024 for all the students of B.Com (H) and B.Com. A renowned Company Secretary and the Chairman of ICSI Bareilly Chapter CS Mohit Bhatia was invited as guest speaker.
CS Mohit Bhatia started the session with deliberation on what actually the similarity and difference between Company Secretary Course and B.Com or B.Com (Hons.) program. He also discussed the complete process to become a certified Company Secretary and different positions a person can work on after its completion.
During the session, he gave an insight about different statistics regarding number of students currently enrolled in Company Secretary Course and actual number of Company Secretaries required in future. He also said that, it is myth among the students that the Company Secretary program is very easy as compared to Chartered Accountant course. He also discussed the differences and similarities between both the courses in terms of subjects to be studied and the future roles.
The session was very informative and interactive.
