B.Tech. – Mechanical Engineering

Course Overview

Four Year Full Time Degree Programme

Mechanical Engineering is the basic engineering branch that applies the principles of Physics and Material Science for analysis, design, manufacturing and maintenance of mechanical system. Mechanical Engineering emerged as a field during the industrial revolution in Europe in the 19th century. Its study and innovation are needed to pursue and understand the concepts of all allied engineering branches like Nano Technology, Composite & Mechatronics. The present curriculum of Mechanical Engineering provides scope to understand concepts of Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Petroleum Industry through the application of various Mechanical Engineering theories and devices.
