Two Years Full Time Degree Programme
In physics we try to reveal the secrets of nature, from the microcosm of elementary particles to the macrocosm of astrophysics. Between these two extremes there is a wealth of subjects, ranging from biophysics at cellular level and medical research to the development of new understanding in fields such as nanotechnology and climate.
The programme has been designed with the objective to provide students with a sound knowledge of the underlying principles which form a thorough basis for careers in physics and related fields. It will allow an in-depth experience of a particular specialised research area, through project work, as a member of a research team. This course will enable students to develop insights into the techniques used in current research areas of Material Science, Solid State Physics, Nuclear Physics, Electronics & Quantum Mechanics.
It will develop the professional skills necessary for students to play a meaningful role in industrial or academic life and satisfy the need, both nationally and internationally, for well qualified postgraduates who will be able to respond to the challenges that arise from future developments.
Eligibility
